Join us for Venice Storytellers on 11/20
Join us in Venice for an informal public reading of three new, short plays at 2pm on Saturday, November 20th.
VENICE STORYTELLERS brings together Venice community members and Cornerstone Theater Company artists in conversation about the neighborhood. Over two Saturdays we’ll share stories and perspectives to make some art together that grows from the broad themes of HISTORY, HOME and ART.
These readings, staged outside in the park at the Oakwood Recreation Center, will feature local residents whose stories and conversation inspired the plays they are performing.
The presentation is informal. Attendees should bring a chair or blanket to sit comfortably for 45 minutes to an hour.
This event is free, but please consider donating here to sustain our work of creatively collaborating with communities to reflect complexity, disrupt assumptions, welcome difference, and amplify joy.
