Cornerstone Theater Company

Native Nation Touring

Native Nation is an immersive theatrical production that tells the story of this land though the eyes of its original people. Award-winning artistic team playwright Larissa FastHorse and director Michael John Garcés join Cornerstone in creating a touring structure for American Indian communities, first at ASU Gammage and then on to other Native communities across the US. Created through Cornerstone’s signature community-engaged theater practice, and performed by a cast of local Indigenous community members alongside Cornerstone ensemble members, Native Nation is more than a play – it is an experience that combines an indigenous marketplace, community gathering and cultural performance that will change the way you see this land.
