L.A. County is a big place, but everyone has a story. In our new play, Where I’m From, Angelenos share their stories to help shape the future of their community.

Last fall, the California Community Foundation pledged $1 billion to L.A. County nonprofits during their 100th anniversary celebration and invited Cornerstone to create and perform Where I’m From, an original play highlighting the diverse experiences and aspirations of Los Angeles residents.

All of the cast members in Where I’m From have participated in other Cornerstone projects and their candid stories provide insight and inspiration throughout this timely piece.

Where I’m From, written by Michael John Garcés and directed by Daniel Penilla. Featuring Marcenus “M.C.” Earl, Natalie Venegas, Jared Ross, Bethany “B” Nava, Kenneth Ramos and Cecilia Dominguez.
